my parents arent rich, but they know how to save money, so my parents have alot of cash left over after the bills to buy the nice stuff, we just cant get a big house cuz if we did we wouldnt have alot of extra cash
my mom makes like 40k a year, and idk how much my dad makes, i think he makes like 50k

If your parents are not rich there is no money left over after taxes and bills thats pretty much just life. I mean sure you can save and put some money away but it normally takes years and years for that to gain any interest and benefit you. So if they dont make money you really cant save for nice stuff anyway.

70-100k a year is ridiculous money (I always look at salaries before taxes). Maybe not in the US or in bigger cities but if you live in a place where the cost of living is low (like here) that's good money. (Could be the same in US I am unsure).

My dad does dirt work so he's a hustla and drives a black quadcab f-250 outlaw.

Don't knock UPS. They pay really well, and an amazing benefits package. One guy I know retired after 30 years there and got just over $1 million from his retirement and doesn't pay for health care for the rest of his life. Another friend of mine works there, has amazing health care, built a bad ass show Integra, just bought his second house, and will be set when he retires.

Prion, I bet your parents are going to be feeling the crunch soon because that is the tax bracket that is getting hit hard right now. Between the Wifey and I, we make about 50-60k a year. And we are having trouble now.

My mom and dad make plenty of money but they have always raised me to not judge others by money, houses, cars, items, and clothes. Even though we could easily live in bigger houses, ride nicer cars and go on amazing vacations we don't because its a lifestyle to show that life isn't about always being bigger and better its about finding happiness in what ever you have, because you won't ever enjoy life if you don't understand/learn that.

Just be happy with what you have and don't brag about what you or your parents have ( not saying hunter did, he isn't like that).


My parents told me when Im driving and have more freedom they will help pay gas, but I will have to find a way to pay some of my own gas and some of my own extra money and necessities yet I don't want to get a job until the summer. So the first few months I drive I shall be limited because of that yet Im fine with that because I will just appreciate the extra money that much more. How I look at it.
