pretty much, they let you go slightly deeper, but you would get much more out of diamond pushups or wide grip pushups

I <3 diamond & wg push ups ![]() The only thing is that with diamond push-ups, you really have to pay close attention to your body and focus on either pushing through your chest, or through your triceps. Strength and honor,

I do that sometimes, but then I realize "why the fuck am I using all my knuckles when I could just use 1 finger", I always *facepalm* myself when I do that.
And to be serious one day my coach said do diamond pushups, and he told me why they're better.

What people need to realize when asking these kinds of questions is this. 1. What muscles am I trying to improve 2. How can I isolate these muscles. What I am saying is when you think about it, what could doing push ups with your knuckles actually do to improve your strength/physique or anything else? The only thing doing push ups on your knuckles can do is add maybe 1 inch more of depth you can go on your push up, which wont really do much. Also note that doing pushups from you knuckles is putting a lot of strain on a joint thats not supposed to support your body weight. Now about diamond pushups, what is there to hate about those? You can completely isolate your triceps and push out through your pecs, imo they are the best form of push up

And with diamond push-ups, you can really isolate your inner pecs and be able to make them nice and full. Then throw in the added idea of putting your feet above ground level (at any angle) and hitting every single portion of your chest.
Strength and honor,

I've never done them, but I'm probably going to try them now.
