| I ask obvious questions ![]() The Superior 2000 | So I finished my shitty website for my Intro to Web Design class I know it is bad and I am expecting a lot of negative comments on it, nothing I haven't already said about it to myself, but guess what, it's fucking done and it is going to guarantee that I pass my class Carlos Perez Web Design Final Find typos and grammatical errors and post them please I'm sure there are a few |

![]() The Superior 4000 | Does "Portfolio" need to always be capitalized? Is the N in Canada a long N? Why is there a tilda(sp?) above it? Are the "about me" and the "contact" anchors(?) supposed to be the only ones that increase in font size on hover? Isn't free lance, supposed to be just freelance? (About me page.) I am personally a big fan of links that open a new page instead of redirecting the one you are on. Just a suggestion. But I would only use it under your contacts. This was they do not actually leave your page. I like it. Really simple and clean. I also just noticed that the on hover font size only changed if you have NOT clicked on it already. Buttons would of looked nifty. But not necessarily needed. Strong must mean what I was describing as "on hover". I hope I got all the terminology correct. I used what I could remember my coworker telling me from when I was just looking at your source code. Last edited by Midget; 05-23-2009 at 07:03 PM. |

![]() The Superior 4000 | WIN! I didn't even know we had this section. I will be using it now. ![]() I get webspace through my job for whatever I want. Most of the guys put files and crap on there. I am going to use it to test pages and show them off. ![]() It's only 10 megs. How much is that? As in how big is your little site there? |

| I ask obvious questions ![]() The Superior 2000 | My website is 1.3 MB and that is including the images I used your supposed to save images for web a certain way to reduce loading times and file size but I didn't on this project ![]() File size are relatively small so 10 MB should be good for anything you plan on doing |

| That Random Brown Guy ![]() ![]() Best Forum God | There is nothing wrong with it from a technical standpoint. Very basic yes but I'm assuming that's all you need to pass? If you were being graded on appearance and appeal then I'd say you'd probably fail but since that is probably not the case then the presentation is fine. One thing you could do is change the page title of your pages to reflect the page that the end viewer is on. Currently all of your page titles are "Carlos Perez Web Design Final" so even if you wanted to keep that you could add stuff to it on the end to make it personalized. So for example on the about me page you could make it "About Me" or "Carlos Perez Web Design Final - About Me." I say this because it's always good to know what page you're on before you even get to look at the content of the page. Page titles help out with that ![]() Another thing that I noticed is that when you hover over the header links the next closest image to them moves down slightly. Make it so that on hover the links don't become so big that they move stuff around them. |
