I got RRoD again. For the 3rd time.
I'm tired of this shit. I'm going to come up with some clever fan system in the shelf it sits on, to ensure that it lives longer than the rest. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to send it in because I'm in school, and the post office closes at like 1 for some damn reason. So...exoect me back on in about three weeks or so.

But the thing I don't understand is that it only happens half of the time while playing. In fact, it freezes more than it RRods. For example, everything will be fine on start up, then I'll put in MW2, start a match, then out of no where, I hear a screeching noise, and it freezes. After that, I'll turn it off, then turn it back on again, opnly to see that it freezes on start up or RRoDs. I don't get it. This shit is so unpredictable. Sadface.

Aw that sucks man. Hopefully yours will get back to you in 2 weeks like mine did.

After 3 generations of xbox360s, they should've fixed this tiny little problem that is losing them millions haha.

Thats odd since the RROD is caused by Solder breaking :/, Just make sure the bottom and back is open for ventalation and your fine.

My 360 has about 3/4 foot on the sides, and 1/2 foot on the top.
I despise 18004myxbox btw. I can't stand saying "what did you say?" every three seconds.

Why do you have to come up with a "clever fan system"? Why can't you get a xbox 360 cooler for your system?

Because I am creative, slightly hood, and I've heard neagative things about those intercoolers. I'm just goin to get a couple small cheap fans to stick in the back to help circulate air rather then having a large piece of plastic hang off my xbox.

Got a box today, so my mother is sending it off tomorrow for me.
I can't wait to be back on again. Now that I have a game worth playing.

I'm down for MW2, Halo 2 or 3, Gears 2, and UFC.
Oh, and uno.

Xbox got my console a couple days ago. Now awaiting the "repair completion". Should be back on in a week or so.

But for red rings, they generally dont attempt a repair, therefore, the customer recieves a new xbox quicker.

I've had my 360 for more than 2 years and have never once gotten the three red rings. It has overheated a few times and gotten 3 red rings and a green ring but all I had to do was unplug it and plug it back in. Maybe I'm just lucky? I hope this doesn't happen again though, because that really sucks to have it happen three times.
