The best zombie game since L4D could have been made...

Possession (video game) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I know it's wikipedia, but this looks legit. And if it isn't, its an amazing idea. Sounds similar to L4D but game play wise sounds so much funner.

Edit- This is a mix of RTS, first person, and FPS so I didn't know where to put it.

Yeah which is why it "could have been made". It is an amazing idea and if someone that valve would listen to pitched this idea to them they would make this into an amazing game.

You can't beat Valves design team. This game was most likely canceled due to lack of interest and lack of design. Designing an RTS and FPS zombie-shooter would not be easy as it has never been done before - in fact it would not be an RTS/FPS shooter, it would be a new genre. From what I read it seems this game would be more an RTS game, which would not be all appealing. Would have been nice to see what this game could have been, though.

Uhm, it sounds like L4D from the other point of view. And or some of the creators of a few games all worked together on trying to make this years back. And then split to create their current games.

Give them props for thinking of something new though. I'm getting sick of just simply shooting zombies.. with the exception of Zombie Master of course.

You know what would be better? GTA Zombieland. You just run around a city and kill zombies.

Open world Zombie FPS would be really fun. Take the idea of Dead Rising, but make it more like a first person shooter.

Looking at the videos on IGN, I remember someone mentioning this on G4.

Looks pretty cool, but I'm pretty sure it won't be coming out.
