The Buyout of KronicStudios

Well, this is a large step for the growth of TheBestForumEver. Recently, we bought out another forum. You all may recognize them; I sure know that a few of you were dedicated members there. Kronicstudios sound familiar? With Paul (X) asking me if I would like to purchase the site, I thought that it would be best to take advantage of the situation. While, in recent times, there have been many issues that has caused basically an immediate halt of activity, I think with this buyout, we can restore the once amazing video editing forum.

Let’s give some history to this forum. It was once a great forum for video editing; very popular at one point with many members and activity like crazy. It was the place to go to check out all the tutorials and such for video editing. Youtube is filled with them still: YouTube - kronicstudios

Look at all the videos and tutorials! It’s insane! Then, things started going downhill. Issues began arising within the staff and well, you get this lovely video:

Whether you hate X or you don’t doesn’t matter anymore. He doesn’t own the site and he did what I believe was best and sold it off to me.

Now, that brings us to present day. What does this mean for us, the original TBFE members? This means more posts, more members to discuss with, and more activity. Hopefully people come back to the once kronicstudios and realize that they just landed themselves in a fantastic forum which doesn’t just offer areas to discuss video-editing, even though that’s the point of merging, but to discuss everything else such as politics of gaming. What I’d like to do is bring back some of the contests they had running such as the weekly snipe and stick contests. I’d like to get SOTW back up going and running.

Well, this would def. bring new members...if there were any left.

Random, Me, Stick and like 3 others were the only active members...

People would sign up to the site for a single post asking for an editor or someone to capture clips or a sig..something along that nature. When Pete and Carlos were running while X was inactive for the LONGEST time, the activity boomed. Twas my warez posting heaven, where I started to learn AAE and edit. The video goes into more shit in detail, but buying a dead site with no boost in activity level in sight, seems odd.

Midget he was Admin of KS, I don't think Tony changed permissions yet.

He bought the whole site, meaning he took over his admin. Tony is still the root, and that can't be changed (meaning X can't tale the advantage of doing anything stupid).
