No focal point. No flow. No depth. Color scheme is decent.

Overall not a very good job in my opinion. Remember: just because you learned how to use the pen tool does not mean you need to use it for everything

The pen tool works best when combined with other design elements.

Not one thing in this tag uses the pentool.

i think it has potential but as it is right now..it just not really doing anything for me.

Well then - points for that. It was much harder to do it without the pen tool

I'm curious to see how you made that know. I see basic shapes etc, but I want to know what all you did from scratch.

Everything is basic shapes, marquee tool, rounded rectangle tool, and gradients.
