It's pathetic. I've read and seen reviews and the highest it has gotten was 3/5. The rest were things like 4/10 and stuff. It's only because like 70% of the people that went were ugly lonely girls and 20 % good looking hormone crazy girls and 10% boyfriend who were pulled into seeing it. Quite sad that the director took advantage of girls' hormones so he purposely added all the shirt off scenes. Pathetic. What has the movie world come to? No one gave a shit about the story, almost every girl I talked to about it said they went to see the dude with his shirt off. HELLO. It's called the internet. Use it and you'll find a lot of pictures of that I'm sure.

And lol, the dude doesn't even know of the existence of most of the girls going crazy about him. Like, he doesn't know that "(insert hormone crazy girl's first and last name)" exists. Yet she goes crazy about Taylor and wants to marry him.

/rant

Pisses me off to see great movies lose to a movie with such low ratings all because of hormone crazy girls wanting to see a guy with his shirt off.

...that was awesome...
Im not surprised that it broke a box off record... not at all..
i will admit that i went to go see the movie but it was a last minute decision. i havent read the books nor do i keep up with the actors in this movie. i know alot of girls that have gone completly gaga over the guys in this movie and i find it stupid. i didnt go see the movie because some guy was going to have his shirt off. If i wanted to see a guy with his shirt off i could save the 8-9$ for the ticket plus gas and stay on campus to see someone that i actually like spending time with instead of fantasizing over someone i will never meet in my entire life. I went to see the movie cuz the first one was decent and my roommate reallly wanted me to go.. end of story.

I thought this was funny:

Did You Know?
Twilight
Stephenie Meyer cited the band Muse as her source of inspiration to write her books, and another of her favorite groups is Linkin Park. Both bands contributed a song to the movie's soundtrack.

Same. I like Muse & LP. I may not listen to them all the time, but they are good.

They made box office obviously from girls and boy friends/husbands being dragged along.

Seriously, I haven't seen either of the movies yet to this day and the only reason I would is if a girl wanted to go see it, then I'd have no choice...

Hey, LP was great back in the day.
Then you go back and look at all the H2 montages with LP songs, Coheed and Cambria and Breaking Benjamin songs.
