Well, I was more talking to the people who are giving him Blessthefall and Silverstein which both are post-hardcore.
Also I was saying Velexis is fail calling Pendulum electronica.

But yes, I read the rest of the posts and they are good. So, many of you are better than I thought.

actually you are wrong. well actually it depends on which album you are referring to. their hold your colour was dnb; however, their latest album (dnt no wut its called) all their songs have the incorrect bpm to be known as dnb. so when velexis said that they were electronica he was correct; but i prefer to use the term pop.

I think Pendulum being Electronica was answered with Rozza's post. The grounds are disputeable depending on the album.

I'm not 100% sure if the bands I posted are what Americans class as Alternative. The bands I posted are Indie, Britpop or Grunge; which I have read are sub-genres of Alternative.

any band who claims to be in a "genre" are fake. real bands say they play THEIR music and the critics can say what genre they are. ask a good band what genre they are and they cant tell you. trust me on that.

They can usually tell you what people tell them they are.

I find that many of bands that I enjoy listening to play many different genres depending on the song.

EDIT: I just realized that I did not add anything useful so i suppose that i should do that now

Kings of Convenience
Muse - I think this was said, but I can't remember
Franz Ferdinand
Modest Mouse

I don't know if any of those were mentioned, and I find that Alternative Rock is such a broad genre, and that so many things are considered "alternative". If this isnt what you are looking for, I am sorry.
