Default Any good Rappers that you want to sharE?

'Cause Thizz and some other people say that Lil Wayne sucks but I like him. I would like to listen to some great talent though. I don't know what to look for though, so any ideas? I just got into rap about 4 months ago btw...

Depends on what style you're looking for.

Souls of Mischief
Hieroglyphics/Del
Funky Fresh Few
MF Doom
Eyedea & Abilities
Wu-Tang
Kidz in the Hall

Um... that's about the extent of the rap/hip-hop I listen to. I'm sure others can throw in some more people/groups.

I'm not into Rap as much anymore. Like I say, I'm open-minded, so here's what I suggest.

I suggest;
Rakim
Nas
Tupac (Heh)
Biggie (Heh)
Warren G? I think that's the name.
Puff Daddy... Not the albums he done as P diddy.
Eric B
KRS
Dead Prez

There is loads, but you will find other good rappers if you follow these.

I only know one song by Bone Thugs and Harmony I think. That song is Tha Crossroads.

SpaRe, I think people think Lil Wayne is crap because he is modern... And modern rap sucks. Rap is all about lyrics, and how they all work together.
One song I suggest listen to is Rakim - The Mystery. Listen to how the words work together in harmony, and the lyrics have meaning... That IS rap, not all this I sell drugs, got hoes and shoot niggas if you roll in my hood bollocks.
