in 2005 John McCain (Who Obama claims knows nothing of economics) predicted that if the government did not intervene that Fanny Mae, and Freddie Mac would go under and force us into nearly a depression. McCain then went to the Senate in 2005 and tried to get change made. Sadly for the US we are now in the situation we are in now, because the Senate and House were controlled by Democrats who quickly shot down his idea and said that those two companies were doing fine.
As we all know, the Government has taken control of these two companies to try and restore the housing market and get our country out of trouble here are some links to read for yourself just in case you actually believe Obama. I really didn't think Obama got massacred and CNN called it even on the debate. Also about the morgage crisis, for once soldati is right. The republicans aren't agreeing on the bill because the dems want to put in a stipulant that the american people got money back each year since we paid for the companies to be bought out. |

I don't see it that way. I see it as the American people buying a company and when someone buys a company they own it and they recieve money from that company. Just like getting a check from your job, I hardly see it as being socialistic.
