Alright guys as everyone has noticed already, TBFE has already started to evolve and take shape into what kind of forum this is going to become. Many of you have been here from the beginning, while others are brand new and just exploring this site.

This makes me think of a few things that we all need to consider. First off if you are new you need to search the forums, and look at the way that people post. Try to mimic those who make good intelligent posts, while ignoring those who do nothing but flame (attack) and spam (off topic, random pointless posts) other members.

Next we need to consider that this site was at the beginning a very chill, relaxed forum where everyone was welcomed and good conversation took place. Lately I have been getting on to do my daily moderating duties and seen a lot of spamming and flaming of members. Do not hate on members try to accept them, if you do not like someones post that is fine its your right to dislike a post, but instead of responding and replying with an attack just ignore the post and continue about your business.

We need to also work on staying on topic more, contribute to the idea at hand, if the thread evolves and becomes more and takes shape into a whole new idea that fine that means good intelligent conversation has taken place, but if someone gets off topic with something random, just ignore them do not add fuel to the fire get back on topic and report the off topic post so it can be taken care of. This site needs to go back to our roots, thats accepting people, having good conversation and not being angry

With all the new members coming from H3F and other sites, people realize that this is our home, TBFE ever and sometimes its not ok to act the way you would on that site. I want everyone to feel like a family not just another face in the crowd so lets try to act more mature and make sure this site evolves for the better not for the worst

I completely agree with Quinn here. This is a great forum. You guys are great members, lets not ruin it. If you want to spam, keep it to the can of spam. If you want to flame another member, keep it to the only place where you can't get in trouble, the flame on thread in the can of spam. As for the intelligence, it will be best for the forum and everyone will get along much better.

Also, I started an area where only mature posters can access and you can't gain access by posting more, but by getting voted in. Sort of like a secret society, but we aren't secret, only our forum is.

and look at HB now, no one posts no one responds its a dead site. I have changed I think thats quite obvious. All I know is that I loved this site early on now its starting to go down hill, we need to redirect things and get it going back on the right track

Lead the example. You obviously aren't capable of doing so. With all of the comments you make that you know will get under people's skin. If you're going to complain about maturity and flaming, work on your own personality. You've been doing this on QsK and HB.

Honestly HB turned out the way it did because of the behavior we are using now. Quinn, you weren't the greatest HB member by any stretch but we all have to take a turn for the better. Including myself, because I haven't been the greatest member here as of late.


I agree with this 100%, more participation and activities are required also.

I am not always the best member, I mean while its no excuse working 40 hours a week behind a customer service desk getting bitched at by angry members will make you not be on your best behavior from time to time. But at the same time its my job, and Jason's job to take care of the mess that is left for us while we are at work and it can be stressful.

I know that I as of late have not been on my best behavior, but in no way can you say that I have not made a turn for the better and been a good contributing member of this site.

I've blown up once since I've taken the job as Moderator and I think that's a decent ratio for the almost two months that we've been up and running. I still try to set a good example though

anyway, that's all I got to say about that.
