okay i read the last thread but did not respond, i will now put my opinion in. the kid was stupid and needed a lesson that is true. there is much more to life than video games (i no longer have any with me in college). However, to wish him death is rediculous and i hope you were exagerating. I am personally against the idea of killing anybody and believe that anybody can learn a lesson. also a couple days away from his family may help him figure out how much they have done for him, or that the video game is not that important. sometimes drastic measures are the best ways to teach people lessons.

Are you guys fuckin' kiddin' me? WOW, I didn't expect such harsh replies in this thread. It kinda makes me sick. He's 15 years old. Sorry if some people didn''t grow up and mature as fast as you did. Dam.
I remember reading the story when he first disappeared. I don't think his dad will ever get over this. He has to live with himself for the rest of his life that he was the 'cause of his son's death. Or atleast part of it. Blame towards the parents as well. He shouldn't have been able to even get his hands on this game according to the esrb rating. |

I'm pretty sure his life wasn't going perfect until that moment, if you haven't realized this, the media likes to exclude things then exaggerate others. Most likely there was a long chain of event leading to this. |

You guys are soo fkn ignorant. I bet 99% of you didn't entirely read the article.
This guy had a psychological addiction to video games, he firstly started to play video games on weekends, then after school to the point where he lost all his friends because he was only paying attention to video games. Since he had no friends, he played more video games and then he stole 20$ to his sister to buy stuff for his video games (ms points I guess). His parents, then removed his xbox and called for help to fight against their son video games addiction. Finally to guy left the house and died 15 days later for an unknown reason. I mean, there's soo much guys here on this forum that plays xbox over 15 hrs/week, that has no control on their lives and that can't find anything else to do. Last time I played halo (in July I think), I realised that there was people on my friendlist that has played like 3 or 4 times more games than I did. Jesus Christ, this guy wasn't an asshole, I'm pretty sure he knew that there was other things than video games in life. Just like the drug addicts, he couldn't live without his game.
